Les Colombines" is located at the end of a small woodland lane, between the countryside and the beach, and is popular with local wildlife. The accommodation offers sea views from the living room, master bedroom and terrace, and a large, wild-looking garden surrounds the building. This gîte perfectly combines the charm of a period 'chalet' with modern interior comforts, finely decorated in an antique style.
An entire section of the living room has a bay window facing the sea, giving access to a large terrace overlooking the garden. The fenced garden is around 1300m2 and was designed several decades ago. It is particularly pleasant.
The wooden furniture and bedding offer all the comfort you would expect from such a place. The 3 bedrooms upstairs can sleep up to 7 people. The gîte was recently refurbished. The bedding and interior furnishings were renewed at the same time.
Calm and serenity are the key words here.
The beach can be reached in 5 minutes on a short walk.
Following the coastline will take you to Varengeville-sur-mer, a charming village renowned for its famous gardens, whose tranquillity and beauty have inspired some of France's greatest painters, including Claude Monet and Georges Braque in particular. The GR21, the Ailly lighthouse, the Moutiers floral park and the marine cemetery are just a few minutes' walk away.
Other paths will take you to the beach at Ste Marguerite sur Mer, and much further afield. Walks along the beach at low tide will take you to various paths or even to Pourville sur Mer or Dieppe.
